remove the bushing, heat up the eye (propane torch) don't get it so hot it melts the aluminum and it will release the locktite stuff and it will spin off. If you need hold the shaft with a pair of pliers push down the rubber stoppe and do it right below the threads. But I would just back off the jam nut until it runs out of thread and binds the shaft personally and unscrew with a mam jamma big screwdriver through the eyelet.

my buddy and i just did this with both of our 50s. take a pair of needle nose vice grips and lock them on through the spring from the side and back the lock nut all the way down. use a wrench on the nut very lightly, but it should be enough, between the two to break it free. it is much easier with two people.

stick a screw driver through the eye peice and use all your strength to twist. Get a freind to hold the bolt. That is how I got mine off.
