QUESTION: Fuel leak out carb
I have a 2003 xr50 with a BBR FTP kit with a 18mm keihin carb and some other mods. I just changed frames and am putting the bike back together. I installed a new throttle cable from Trail Bikes and all seems good. Bike starts and runs fine, but when I turned the gas on, fuel runs out the bottom of the carb drain hose that is on the left side of the carb. I removed and reinstalled the drain screw and took the carb apart and messed with the float, but still just pours gas out the bottom. PLEASE HELP. Thanks.

Either your float is stuck or there is a piece of trash in the seat where the needle shuts the flow of gas off.
Messing w/ the float won't fix it. You need to remove the float and needle and clean the needle and seat.

Ok, I will try that tonight. Thanks.
