    How to: Change the front sprocket ?

    do i need to take the side case off ? and how come some people bikes you can see the whole sprocket ? is the side case two peices or do they have aftermarket side cases

    Yes, you have to remove the side cover. The cover can be milled out to show the sprocket, I do this for $25.00.

    ya but if u do that won;t ur shoes get all chewed up. i hav some grip tape on my covers and the grip tape is really worn out right there.

    you don't if your only removing the cover to get to the sprocket

    how many bolts hold the case on when you mill the case ?? i was taking my case off and i stripped on of the bolts the on on the bottom closes to the spocket (right under the sprocket) i think i am just gonna take a dremel to it and has some of the side case off for now till i can have it milled

    Its easy we used a regular jig saw w/metal blade and cut it from the inside the smooth it out w/a grinder BAM!

    only two one towards the front bottom of the case and on in the middle at the top
