there should be a hole or a small bracket in an L shape to mount the # plate.. you might have to drill a new hole in the plastic but that's no big deal

Re: Pulling the trigger tomorrow.
Yea the upper clamp has a little bracket thingy with a screw that goes into the hole on the number plate.
What do you want for those stock 70 forks Huck?
From what I've read I would need the forks and the stock lower clamp and a aftermarket upper clamp to put 70 forks on my 50. Is this correct?

Re: Pulling the trigger tomorrow.
Well I ended up ordering an E6 fork kit from BBR for the front end. For the rear I got one of those cheap aluminium swingarms off e bay. A friend of mine is using one and its holding up ok. My plan is to use a Fox Float shock for the rear. I also ordered a BBR tall seat. I should have everything togeather around wednesday next week.
Question: What does everybody think about a 14" front tire with a 10" rear tire? Or will a 14" tire not fit on the short stock xr50 frame?
Pics to follow.
Eric.

Why yes, I am.
How hard is it to lace up your own wheel? Are there special tools or jigs required?

Re: Pulling the trigger tomorrow.
lacing up wheels sucks balls, have fun with that one, not trying to be mean or anything but it takes awhile.
