There is no legal PDF that I know of. Go to Helm Inc. to get the official service manual. You can also check out the Clymer version. That may be a little cheaper, but I dislike Clymer manuals.
eBay Motors: CRF50F CRF50 CRF 50 F 04 05 06 07 SERVICE MANUAL PAPER (item 320190360802 end time Feb-28-08 23:36:33 PST)
...personally i like having the paper version so you can take it into your garage and have it next to you when you need it
yeah, I saw those on ebay. I wasnt sure what to think of them. Anyone have one of those manuals? Opinions?
i have 1 for my 50 and 1 for my gsxr. both are great. price was good and shipped fast from that guys ebay store
i just got a clymer manual off ebay and it is very nice!
You can find a LEGAL online manual for the Honda CRF50 and XR50 at: Honda XR50 CRF50 Online Service Manual : Cyclepedia Press LLC
Astounding quality for the price.
does anyone have one of these in downloadable format?
I can get them for almost every other bike except the crf50
This site has links to the official CRF50 manual.
www.hondacrf50.com
Just click on the picture of the manual and it will take you to the site...
Are any of them free though? I need to know how to get to the air filter and clean/oil it (and soon replace), but I have no idea how to. Could anyone help me with this?
if its stock it is a tight fit.
1) unclamp and pull it of off the carb
2) remove ant lose wiring i think there is two and remeber where they go.
3) unbolt the from the frame and squeze out.
4) once out take philps screw driver and unscrew the two screw holing the black casings together.
5)air filter in side. clean/oil and redo all the steps backwards.
pm me if you have any other questions.
thanks a whole lot. I just recently changed the air filter and now i have ordered a uni air filter since they are much easier to clean. The stock filter is such a pain
i did the same about 6 months backOriginally Posted by ACE 4080
how are you liking it?
i got my manual off ebay as well
the main benifit is the easy acces. it takes half the time to clean and it helps preformance alot.Originally Posted by ACE 4080
I also have a uni filter on my KLX110. The pod style filter is great for the nice days, but it it is wet, dusty, or muddy it just sucks up all the crud and has to be cleaned every five min. I use the stock airbox with a uni filter most of the time. I also use the Cyclepedia.com manual as mentioned above.
+1 on www.Cyclepedia.com I have Clymer and Hanes for my other bikes and neither compare to cyclepedia .. I himmed and hawed - but am so glad I just did it. Hands down the best out there.
clymer and haynes sucks, i got a genuine honda service manual and it was like 40 or 50 bucks, but this is what they have at the honda dealer so it has everything in it, in a clymer and haynes manual when it comes to the real in depth type of stuff like spliting cases and stuff it says to take it to an authorized dealer, thats bs! i dont let another man touch my bitch!!![]()
i think i got it on ebay but there werent many left, there is an ebay store that has bootleg manuals but i havnt seen it for a while maybe they got busted. just google search it ull find 1 it has a black cover with grey gears and red honda writing on it. good luck bud!
so to recap there is no way to download one for free...
