1971 ct70h quick question
Can anyone provide me with a ballpark value? I have the opportunity to buy one with 600 miles 100% original down to the tires but it's not cheap, if anyone can help I'd appreciate it, it was bought brand new and the kid put 600 miles on it then parked it indoors. It's cherry and every original item is immaculate

This is one of those times you have to ask yourself: 1. Can I afford it? and 2. Do I want it that bad?
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and it's no one else' business what you gave for it.
3-6K

Thank you, it's not a question of affordability, after your post his asking price isn't bad, he has two of them that both have under 650 miles and I was seeing if I could turn one for a profit and keep the other, I ended up buying one today and might go back for the other, there pretty cool, one of those barn finds when he rolled them out, air still in the original tires!

I'd snag it...........

Thanks, the one pictured is the one I bought, I bought two but the other one is a few years older, of anyone's interested I might sell this red one and keep the older one but they weren't cheap. But the pictures don't do it justice, all factory decals and paint are like new condition, I was amazed all I did was rinse it off after it was stored since 82' and it fired up 3rd kick

Looks like u got it in socal somewhere
-
Beautiful original. Congrats!
-
It did come from so cal, and she is a beauty, rides incredible with 4 speed and the clutch!

Yeah, you did well. I'm restoring/refurbishing the same exact thing and already have 1,100 into it. The guy that is helping me sells completely cherried out ones for around 4500. The fact that yours is all original would be a HUGE selling point. Excellent find!!
-
Well if any of you in the loop can help, I might sell this one as I purchased the other he had earlier today, I have no need for two and to be honest this one is flawless and I want to commute so I don't mind hanging on to the lesser of the two. I'm simply not familiar with this market but I'd gladly provide anything needed to help it move
-
And to add it has the original toolkit and underseat paperwork, the only flaw is the battery doesn't hold a charge but it's the original one so it's expected!
-
yeah ma man. you scored pretty well, depending upon what you paid.
-
wow. very nice find buddy. it'd be hard for me to ride that one. It would probably just sit in my house haha
-
Again, thanks for the praise. Since this thread has been moved would anyone care to appraise it? If anyone has a ballpark figure of its value post it up and it would be greatly appreciated. If the right offer comes along it could be yours! And let me remind you it's 100% original down to the tires, heck even half the air in them is from 71'!

No interest? Can someone tell me if this bike is in the 3-5k range or 1-2? P.s. just rode it successfully from palm springs to Redlands!
