    Crf50 hub vs Crf70 hub

This may be a dumb question but will a crf50 hub work on a crf70? I ask because I'm trying to run 12" wheels with super moto tires on my 70 and have found a 12" wheelset with tires but they have crf50 hubs. All they would need are the brake assemblies.

To use the CRF50 hubs and brake panels you would have to move the brake panel stop on the 70 swingarm closer to the axle slot for the rear brake panel to work right.
On the front, you either have to grind down the brake panel tab to fit in the slot of the 50 brake panel, or drill and tap the brake panel tab for a 6mm bolt (10mm head) and use the 50 brake panel that way.

Thanks. Would the 70 brakes work with the 50 hub?

What's the easiest way to get a 12" wheelset for a stock 70? Lace a 12" rear rim to the stock hub?

No, the 70 brake panels are bigger and a totally different design.

The rear wheel of a stock CRF70 is a 12" rim, you would need to lace a 12" rim to the front hub and have spokes custom made
