    crf70 swingarm

It's on 04 crf 70 that i'm upgrading. Looking at swingarms, what are the best company's for quality and price? Is a +4 big enough? I have seen +6 but thinking that is overkill.

Also if you have or know anyone who is selling swingarms hit me up.

    Re: crf70 swingarm

Sorry, it was a +5, but if you go to minibikeoutlet.com, under the crf/xr50 area there is a swingarm for 299 that is a +5.

What would that be on a 70? Like +2 or +3?

The sik +5 is a +3 on a 70. There still made by billetware.

Heres one with zokes, +5, and a 295mm shock.

    Re: crf70 swingarm

What brand of shock is the 295mm? Are there anyother name brand shocks that are longer than the stock 70 shock (275mm) and less than $150? I have seen some Works shock that is 11.75 inches, but are $275.00.

    Re: crf70 swingarm

I bought a 'fast-ace' shock that has an 11.75" i2i off ebay for 75 bucks. Nothing special, has adjustable rebound.

Only problem is it came with a 1200lb spring which is absolutely absurd. I ended up finding a 400lb spring off McMaster industrial supply that I think will work, for 17$.

    Re: crf70 swingarm

I am thinking about Fast Ace, but the springs are very stiff. I am willing to buy one if I can find a softer spring.

Pip3r: Can you post a link of the 400lb spring that you found? I can't find it.

    On McMaster-Carr it is part # 96485K211

I am pretty confident it will work, not 100% sure though. It should show up today, I will let you know if it works.

Thanks for the link to the spring.

Can you post a picture of your bike with the Fast Ace shock on it?

What other mods are on your 70?

That's nice. I'm going to run the 80 forks as well so this is great pic to show what my front will look like. which is better to run with the +3 or +4, I plan on doing some jumping and maybe later racing.

357 racing: Do you know what brand of shock that is? Why is the rear end higher than stock even though the shock is stock length?
