rk finch big valve head for sale or trade for honda race head

just like the title states i have one or rk finchs "fine outstanding" ported big valve lifan head. it has a 30mill ti intake 24 stainless exhaust with his special port job. i would much rather just trade someone that has a decent tb race head or some other decent race head for a 50. if not 250 shipped and it will go just like i got it no cam no rocker arms, no valve or cam caps, and no lash cap for the intake valve. you'll just get the ported head casting valve's springs retainers and keepers. i never ran the head got it in the mail looked at it and threw it on the shelf to gather dust so it is like you would of gotten it from him. if ne question my email is storminnorman07@hotmail.com or just shot me a pm.

I've got a couple 70 style heads (23/20) with light porting, etc. I've also got a new Lifan BVH but I think even Firepower has given up on that mod for small Honda builds. : )

kurly u have ne of those heads n a virgin port? with the lifan heads arent the stud spacing off? heres the dealy i wanna do up a 88 for my stock 70 so thats why i want a honda race head perferably non ported.

Hrmm... I'll have to check to see if any are pristine. I think I've still got my first XR70 head which was just cleaned up slightly, used it on my 72cc build. If I can find it I'll post some pics of the ports for you.



And yeah, the Lifan BVH's run larger stud spacing.

I Have this Honda Kitaco head that needs a total rebuild thats collecting dust also...I paid $400.00+ from Sik50's (Its the X-head)







Complete but.....No piston or Cam gear (has not been ported)

• Intake: 25mm valve, 22mm port

• Exhaust: 22mm valve, 18mm port

Valves, springs and all (3) seals...one of the valves is paper thin



I bought it in 2002....



Darryl told me the rebuild kit was $100.00 5 years ago and came with seats also...head says Kitaco on the castings

Sorry, I've been away at Loudon for the Classic, haven't had time to get on PM. My heads are Honda 70 heads or E22s, so equivilent to first gen TB race heads (same valves, guides, etc). I've got a DRP Ultra with a 25/22 combo... but I'm not ready to yank that off my stroker yet.

I've got a complete xr70 head in pretty good used condition. I also have a variety of parts here and there.

old school does it run that goofy plugs like the se heads run? and is the cam not a bearing cam?



fatcat- i have a stock 70 that i use to piss around with i'm look to get a lil more out of it without dumping an a$$load of money into and not get to excited on how much power i put to it. so i was thinking a cheaper 88cc race head kit should do the job. i have been look at the chp privteer or a tb. then remember i have the pile i mean this fine art work of rk finchs that everyone thinks is bad a$$ so i figured i'd see if someone had a head that will trade.

No Goofy plugs, and it is a "No" bearing cam set-up the cam pulls awesome mid to top

See, thats why I'm interested, I want to compare it to a couple milder mod Lifan heads on my test mule to see if it shines or dies. RK had some interesting motors, he just took every aspect too far killing any chance of reliability... cylinder walls too thin, stud bossess compromised by excessive case bores... I'm curious what his head would do on top of a more 'conservative' bottom end.



Plus as long as it didn't ruin my motor it'd give me something to run while I refresh my current preferred head that Kendall built.



Unfortunately if you've already got XR70 heads, I don't think I've anything interesting to offer in trade. My only other 'neato' bits I've got floating loose that'd fit would be my 70's auto clutch, sporting a full Powroll Ti clutch weight set?

kurly- i'm with you i was curious to see how his head did after all the chit he talked i gave up a brand new tak roller head for this piece of chit so u can only imagion how bent around the axles i was when i finally did get it. i looked at it for a moment and said i'm not putting that ticking time bomb on ne of my bottom ends thats why it has sat on the bench collecting dust
