I snapped my output shaft in my 04 KLX motor after I upgraded my TB 134cc Race motor.....to a TB 165cc kit...



I just Installed a 08 Output shaft that I picked up and hope it holds up





So does the 08 output shaft make a difference with a big bore kit..... answer only if YOU personally have done this..

What's the Kaw part # for the newer shaft? I just ordered an '09 shaft, and I can't see what's different about it. I just want to make sure that they got me the newer one. --L*64

there should be no oil hole drilled in it.

If you remember infidel on here, he said he broke an 08 output. But he rides his stuff pretty hard.

THe 08 is an (updated) part from kawi.....still not as good as the one you get from trail bikes that i have never seen break.

actually both are the same output shaft,, Trail bikes sales the OEM updated Heavy Duty Output shaft.

Are you running the 2008 UPDATED Kawasaki Output Shaft mate??? OR the TB one?!

they have 4 gears, but the stock shift drum only lets you utilize 3.

they make an (oem) kawi 4th gear drum made of steel that wont wearout like the takegawa one does since thats soft aluminum



and i would have bought the Trail Bikes crank, prob would have saved a lot of money......oem parts can be ripoff

wow i didnt realize they were that cheap thru oem, i think they came down in price since kawi knows they have issues with them. it used to be more a few years back......so the trail bikes was a no brainer
