correct you are...the AS03's are on the bottom...the AS02's have compression on one leg and rebound on the other...air isused for preload,,,,AS01's do not use air to my knowledge and have comp rebd on each leg like the GPX forks....I would like to try some of the new forks (leopards)....but I wonder why the FastAce forks ar such a pia to set up...very fincky

Pitster is a reliable vendor, with some tons just as good as zokes and use marzocchi seals, but are only 299 retail. Hmmmmmm

Well, I have never ridden any AS01's or Leopards......I have heard the DNM Hornets are nice...and I have also been told after an oil change and valving that the GPX are decent...I have had a couple of sets of the GPX and although I did not ride them I did like the way they felt...closest thing to a big bike too me....but I had to get rid of the 'cuz they were too long...now they make a shorter version of them.....reason I say the FastAce AS02's were a pia is due to the requirement of using air to preload them...schrader valve is on the bottom of the fork and overall very sensitive... pia...but I think I have finally dialed mine in for my local track...so if I don't blow them, I will run'em for now
