whats the best way to get 65 tappered bearing races out

Stick a socket extension down the head tube and smack one side then move to the other and smack it then back to the other side. Should only take a couple hits to get them to come out. Just dont keep beating on only one side much from one side to the other to try and help it come out straight instead of beating it side ways.



Or you can cut a slit down a piece of steel pipe and flare it open to catch both sides and hammer them out that way, but the extension works just as good and alot quicker.
