why are 02 klx 110's bad?

This is a discussion on why are 02 klx 110's bad? within the KLX110, DRZ110, TTR90 forums, part of the General Talk category; my friend just got one and i cant remember why they are bad. and whats the fix? thanks...

    why are 02 klx 110's bad?

    my friend just got one and i cant remember why they are bad. and whats the fix? thanks
    Billetware cradle frame and swing arm, Marzocchi forks, TCS shock, 88 super head, Two Brothers pipe, Tag bars, MOTO XXX graphics....klx 143, marzohhi forks, TCS shock, Billetware swingarm, Two Bros pipe. MOTO XXX graphics

    I was thinking the 02-03 had weaker cranks but im not 100% on that. I just think i remember reading somewhere that there was crank issues with the 02-03.

    that's what ive heard too, but i wouldnt really worry about it. my buddy has a ragged out, abused, stock 02, that's still goin just fine! haha

    was just a different crank or something there abouts i think, all i no is you cant put a 55mm stroker into one..
