The frame is steel (so are spokes) so you are going to have to powdercoat it, might as well do the swingarm too so they will match
powdercoating also has more color options and you can do brighter colors than anodizing

See i already had my covers powdercoated yellow but they didnt have a really bright yellow to match my graphics...

Has anyone ever powdercoated their swingarm matte black or any color? and did it hold up very long?

find another powdercoater then, they make pretty much any color you want
