    Gday everyone .

Building a full mod 110 and want the very best rear end setup , from shock to swingarm .

    elka/fox/ishock etc

and the numerous swingarms that are or where available..

    chp/sano/bbr/bigminis etc etc

its gonna be on a custom frame , that is essentially the Billetware klx frame with a extra inch in length. (thanks drz63

Is limited to big bike style setup .

Im coming from a k-Lxr with the bigger frame , which was alot bigger then regular full mod klx's . so i would probably go for the longest swingarm you could get ?

Do they all work pretty much the same , depending on which shock you run ? or does the different shock angles etc make alot of difference etc.

    Thanks everyone!

I have a BBR supercomp and my friend has a pitster pro rear end. The BBR feels more nimble in the tight turns because its only 2.5 inches longer than stock. It feels amazing when the track is tacky. But I noticed its easier to slide-out and loose control when you got lots of horsepower, and the terrain starts getting dusty or muddy. And in fast, rough stuff, its not as stable feeling. I'm sure when the BBR swingarm is matched to their perimeter frame, the stability is improved. ...or maybe my set-up is just set too stiff? I'm still playing around with the shock. My friend has the DNM shock with a 900 lb spring so it feels more plush and forgiving than mine.

I also like the fact that I can still use my stock drum brakes. The Elka shock feels great, but it would be awesome if there was high and low speed compression adjustments.

Thanks for the input , by pitster pro rearend , do you mean the x4r swingarm ?

I always thought the bbr supercomps where longer then 2.5 , unless they make different sizes ?

    Thanks!

that top one looks like the sano ls8 which is a nice setup with a fox podium, me and my brother have ran supercomps with elkas, chp's with podiums, and ive had a bbr superpro with elka, and im currently running a bigminis with an elka, id say we liked the chp swinger with the podium the most the shocks are amazing and the swinger just looks sick, next i love my bigminis setup, we havent had good luck with the supercomps seems like were always replacing the bushings in the shock and the whole idea of the shock block i dont like, the chp and bigminis are really simple and really easy to work on! CHP>BIGMINIS>SUPERCOMP, IMO

Bigminis is what I have and I love it to death. I've ridden with a few supercomps before and they don't come close to how good the Bigminis feels.

Yup, he has the X4r rear end. I'm pretty sure the supercomps are 2.5 inches. They even look physically shorter than all the other MX swingarms out there. Seems like a lot of other riders agree that the BBR isn't all that great...but the other good thing about it is that you can still get it brand new and there's still parts for them. I don't see too many of the other swingarms for sale.

I have to say, that CHP swingarm looks awesome. I like how the cutouts are on the outside of the swingarm where its easier to clean and less likely to pack with mud from your rear tire.

Should this be limited to brands that you can buy NEW ?

ya everyone has there own opinions and im sure mostly everyone on here has rode 8 different setups like i have lol

Elka - BBR Supercomp = Not bad in my opinion little ridgid and doesnt soak up everything

Elka - BBR Superpro = very similiar to the supercomp but i felt was a little softer than the supercomp setup

Fox Podium - CHP = Very close to the best setup , fox shock is hands down the best shock ive ran and fully adjustable , short swingarm

Elka - Bigminis = Also one of the best ive ran , soaks up mostly everything and very nice when coming up short on jumps , long swinger

Racetech - TwoBros = another pretty long swingarm and felt soft for everyone one ive rode , cant go wrong with this price setup
