    DRZ 110 build

Alright so I decided to do away with my xr70, and get a 110. Picked up an '04 Drz for $350, and i'm starting to build it up slowly and on a budget. It's a little rough but runs great. I just got bbr dampening rods, trc frame cradle and fork springs, renthal bars and a DNM rear shock. I was wondering what weighted fork oil to run as i'm 230 . I'm curious as to what seat I should get for now, and if the Brand X hydraulic clutch is any good. Here's how she looks

Wish we could find 110's that cheap around here. There is a guy selling his on craigslist right now for $800 and it has four holes in the case from ripping the peg mounts out and it smokes. Wow!

I'm 170 and got away with 15wt. What I'd suggest is going 20wt, and getting TRC stiff springs man. The springs are awesome! Very stiff! With the rods, the oil should go much slower too, so that'll help slow compression! TRC Pro 110 HD Fork Springs for KLX and DRZ 110 - Pit Bike Chassis Parts - Front Forks - TRC-8082 - TBolt USA, LLC

I'm pretty sure if you had a V3 frame, you would be having just as much, if not more fun. Don't be a hater too....

Bike looks good! You got a hell of a deal for $350.
I'd usually say to stay away from Brand X stuff if you can, but seeing that they use Magura masters, doesn't seem too bad for $175! I haven't used a Brand X, but I'm a fan of hydro clutches .
If you do decide to get a regular cable clutch though, maybe look into the TB.

    1. Why? I've run a BXM cam for more than a month NO PROBLEMS. I've talked to him on eBay, nice guy, helped me out!
    2. Si, me much gusta TB cable clutch, very smooth pull, installation is bread and butter easy, good price, forget hydros that are 200$ more for the same thing, but MORE of a hassle to install.

I've just heard some bad things about some of the Brand X stuff. Maybe I was just hearing from the few that had problems though. Broken cradle mounts, bent pegmount, sub-par quality "sp5 and crf70" copy forks, but he may have turned things around. I'm just going off the reviews I've seen

However, if you can get a hydro clutch for $175, that includes a Magura master, I'd give it a shot!!
Doesn't seem like a bad price for getting getting the feel a hydro clutch offers!

never ran the tb clutch but I have heard more people dissatisfied with their tb clutch then a hydro clutch.

I think i'll do 20 wt fork oil , and the brand x hydro clutch, but what about seats. Two bros, Red Baron, BBR, or the pitster? I think I should go with a firmer one for my weight. Thanks for the help doe
