KLX110 suspension questions
Im wanting to make my 110 sit a little higher, seeing as im 6'2". But i was thinking of doing a kx 65 font end, but i do that would it be a direct bolt on if i used kx 65 triples? and if i did could i still use the sucky drum brakes that are on it now? and would going from a 10" rear shock to an 11" make a big difference?

the kx 65 forks are not a direct bolt on. The stem diameters are different from the stock 110 triple tree to the kx 65 triple tree. I believe they now make a set of bearings that u can buy to make it work with the kx 65 stem. If you dont want to do that u can grind the weld on the bottom of the klx triple tree and press the stem out. then grind the stem on the kx 65 and press that out. Press the klx stem into the kx 65 trees and weld it in there and bam. It is now a bolt on to stock klx bearings. and im am pretty sure that u would need a +4 swinger or a mx style swinger to get the bike to sit remotely level. Other wise it will be raked out. I have a complete pitster front an rear susp with EVERYTHING that is needed to bolt it on. I can make u a hell of a deal on it if your interested. pm me if u r

im 6 3" and im running the kx 60 forks and a stock swingarm with an i shock with the klx/drz 110 bars and i have plenty of room and it sits level just from adjusting the forks up more in the tripple camps... less money and i prefer the stock swingarm look compared to the +4 one

pro taper klx/drz bars **

i have the same exact set up as joey55 except with a racetech rear shock and the ride height feels perfect to me, it raised my bike 2-3 inches,,,,and a 11in. shock will raise you up, thats what most aftermarket shocks are

Alright cool, doesnt two bros make a triple clamp kit to mount 65 forks to a 110? and I was just looking at the bbr E6 fork kit, anybody run those? any good?
-
Bbr e6s are good quality forks just like everything bbr.
Not sure about two bros making clamps I know brp makes some and so does brandx.
If your set on 65 forks I have some with brp clamps I am getting rid of. They are stock internals actually have two sets of forks. Ill make you a deal on both and you can put the other on ebay and get the money for a wheel and brake setup. Pm me if your interested they are also listed in the 110 classified section.
