how do you change fork oil in stock forks??

    how do you change fork oil in stock forks??

    my front forks a little soft so I was thinking of changing them to a heavier weight oil. Is there a write up anywhere or could someone point me in the right direction on how to do this? Thanks

    Just take the retaining clips and top cap off the top of the tubes, then pour out the old oil, pour in the new oil, and put the top caps and retaining clips back on. Very easy thing to do. Should take no more than 30 minutes if the forks are still on the bike.

    Okay cool sounds easy enough, how much oil in each tube? And would 15-20 weight be good?

    89mm from the top of the fork, compressed, with no spring.
