KLX Build...feels good to be BACK!

Below are some pics of how the bike was when I bought it with the monster graphics and how it sits now. Need to get tires swapped, bearings and steering stem nuts as my dumbass sold them with the front end I sold. Still need to change springs and oil in the zokes, wash em and then they will be good to go.

I'm curious why you went with zokes over the KTM front end?

I can't stand monster crap or rockstar - just like the look of the zokes better.

thanks-doing the forks myself to save the cash. Got them drained, seems pretty simple. Found 4 brown widow egg sacks inside the fork guards. The guy had the forks sitting for a while, needless to say they were dealt with.

Those open cartridge forks are super easy to work on.

yeah got them done tonight. Can't tell but I think the fork seals are bad. Going to wait and see after I get them on if they are leaking.

the guy said it was a 138 but it's a tb kit so I'm guessing it's a 134 w/ race head. I'm used to my old 155 stroker v2 race bike and this thing feels like a pig...lol. I changed the jetting, put in a new clutch and adjusted the valves so we'll see how it runs maybe by next weekend. Once it's together I plan on doing a ride day
