    Installed clutch springs=Kickstart not engaging

So i want ahead and installed HD clutch springs on my 06 110. After putting everything back together my kick start isnt engadgeing. It feels as if the output shaft isnt engadging or lined up properly with the gears, however it visually looks to be right where it needs to be. When putting the output shaft in i loaded up the kickstart spring. thats correct right?

Kinda stumped on this one. Let me know what you guys think im doing wrong.. Thanks

did you try to readjust the clutch? loosen the lock nut for the adjuster and turn it out till you feel it start to get tight and then thread it back in a quarter turn. See if that helps. Or are you using a manual clutch? Does it feel smooth like its just slipping through the stroke and never kicking the motor over or is it skipping and you kick it?

i have yet to try to readjust the clutch. its not a manual clutch... and it feels smooth like it simply slipping and never kicking the motor over. however it still makes that clicking noise as the kickstart returns to the up position

Try to adjust the clutch and see how that work for ya. If its still slipping after that you make have to replace the clutch discs. Before you put the HD springs in did you have any slipping issues before then? Hopefully its just out of adjustment. Let me know what you find out.

alright, ill give adjusting the clutch a shot. a side note... i pulled it off the other day and its engading just fine when the clutch cover it off, (as in the engine cover). so im starting to think its out of adjustment aswell. going to go give it a shot right now, ill let you know how it goes. thanks

check to make sure the one way bearing in the primary clutch is in the right way...
if its in backwards it will spin the dirction the motor turns making the primary hub spin on the crank instead of grabbing and turning the engine over...
