With the tire off you can use a big flat head screw driver on a lot of them. If the spoke is tight to where it uses all the threads in the nipple then you can use pliers to loosen it until you get enough room in the nipple for the screw driver. Just have to be careful because you don't want to round the nipple with the pliers.

BBR spoke wrench will not work on all nipples, FYI, before you buy it.

Brad has a great idea once you get the wheel broke down take one of take one of the nipples and buy a open ended wrench either standard or metric whichever has the better fit...I would not suggest getting a universal spoke wrench as they are garbage IMO.

Thanks fellas, im gonna give it a shot sometime this week, do I need to separate the spokes when I unlace the rim? Like is there spokes longer then others or are they all the same length?

The inside spokes have a different bend than the outside spokes. So you can separate them after just to make it easier when relacing if you want but it won't matter either way.

Not sure what size 110 spokes are but I have a few of the BBR spoke wrenches for my 50s and its rad to have. The BBR wrench is for 4.0 and 5.5 mm nipples. Anyone know what size 110 nipples are?
