    Dodgy 3rd gear

    Hi all
    got a 03 110 with a143 kit and having trouble getting it into 3rd under load ,it's fine going slow and on a stand but giving it the beans it don't wanna go in been shifting in mid flight of a jump just to get in 3rd
    any ideas guys ????

    It's either a bent shifting fork or worn out dawgs. Not to expensive if you can do it yourself.

    I have a motor that's doing the same thing. It's gotten so ba that it wit even shift into 2nd gear. When I went to pull the shift shaft it wouldn't slide out. Gonna have to cut it. I'd say your having the same issue start with the shift shaft

    What does the bike have for a clutch? Sometimes having more then 4 clutch springs will do this

    You shouldn't have to cut your shift shaft out... Mine didn't move when I went to pull it so I took off my shift lever and with a couple taps with a hammer it came out.

    I tried tapping it out. Didn't want to budge. I have t taken it out yet tho. It's actually on a friends bike and he hasn't come up with any money so i haven't spent too much time. Il try again tho

    It's a stock semi auto clutch with 6 springs 3 ard hd tho

    Run only 4 clutch springs and see if the problem persists.

    Ohh okay wasn't sure if you tried that. Maybe just use a rubber mallet and give it a few good wacks, but not crazy wacks lol
