KLX 110 Street tires for kart track - Need help on sizes

I have used the search function and haven't been able to find the information I am looking for. Seems like a lot of the older threads have links to tires that are no longer on that particular site if the site is still active. Here is my question:

What size tires (width/height) can I run on the 14" stock wheel without any modification?

What size tires (width/height) can I run on the 12" stock wheel without any modification?

Answer can be in following format if it is easiest: 80-120 width / 60-100 height or however you want to post it. I am assuming that the width is my biggest hurdle to start.

    Thank you in advance.

You may have a hard time getting the bead to seat properly on the stock 1.60" rear rim

Weird thing is these guys say 120 can fit: KLX110 CRF 70 DRZ 110 REAR STEET TIRE IRC SS540 Rear Street tire

Seems way too wide to me.

I have to agree, especially with the smaller sidewall aspect ratio. Maybe they are referring to the fact that it may fit inside the stock swingarm

you can run a 120 on the rear but if your going to use the stock 1.6 wheel it will be tough to get the bead to set and will pinch the tire which changes the profile of the tire. If your going to use the stock wheel I would go with the 100/90, I cant recommend anything for the stock 14 front as I have never ran a 14/12 setup only 12/12. I would highly recommend contacting Kevin and gatorrimz and get a 12/12 setup which will get you 2.15 front and a 2.5 rear, bt that does depend on your budget and what you plan on doing with the bike.

I'm in touch with Kevin and will probably (95% sure) get a set of Gatorrimz but I am looking to get son set up quick and inexpensive for the time being and then get the wheels when I've got a bit more cashflow.

if I remember correctly the kx60 rear wheel is the same spoke count as the klx front wheel so if you could locate a kx60 rear wheel the hoop will lace up to the front klx hub giving you a 12/12 setup, not ideal but a cheap option

So just finished using stock rims. I might do a quick write up under another post for people interested.

IRC NR77 on the front. Easy change, went on with very little issue

Dunlop TT93 GP Front Tire - 100/90-12 on the rear. Wild pain in the neck to get on. I spent about an hour and half trying to get on before breaking down and going to local shop.

I have 32 hole hoop I'd like to put front hub on. Need to get correct spokes though.

You're probably going to have to send the hoop and hub to Buchanon to have custom spokes made up

Not many options for the 100/90-12. Would a 110/90 work? I have been wanting to order some dirt track style tires. What size is being used for the 14" front

I'll have to tell you later as I can't remember. Super narrow though. Maybe an 80
