    Brakes took a poop...

Yea my Zokes front brakes just took a poop on my yesterday, almost went over a freakin berm!

Anyway, I looked up past posts and I think the only options are this:

    http://paxracingstore.com/shop/produ...roducts_id=308

    or

just to get a KX 65 front brake set up?

Which one's better? I don't want to spend that much...my tax $$ is looking pretty slim.

You serious? I had an SDG when they 1st came out and that damn thing had too many issues. My biggest waste of $$ ever in my life.

But if they work.. heh heh

The Pax setup is excellent, best that we have found. However, they are the EXACT brake found on the SDG Pro 125. So do a Pax setup or find a front setup off of the Pro 125, all the same.

Hey thanks all.... I went ahead and just decided to give a shot at bleeding them. I hate doing it but I figured its worth a try before I invest $200 for a new set up.

When I opened the reservoir the fluid looked like it was a yellowish liquid with some milk in it. It didn't look at all like brake fluid I'm used to seeing. I got these forks used... maybe that explains it.

Anyway I did a trick I learned on the Thumpertalk site when I had my WR250...I got a syringe and loaded it with brake fluid. Then I pump it into the hole at the bottom of the brake line. That way it pumps all the air and crap up top.

Well, it worked! So far. My brakes work for now, I don't know what happened before.

But if they take a dump on me again I'll check out the PAX set up.

Do you run those? I didn't mean to knock them, they just looked smaller in the picture I saw.
