Hey I just got a KX60 rear hub and I was wondering if I need to weld a tab to the swinger to hold the drum. Kind of like how the tourque rod holds the drum on the stock hub. So if anyone has any info on this it would be good.

yes you wold have to weld on a tab to your stock swingarm. But if you are going KX60 why not go KX65 disc brake,,, it will need the same tab that you will need for the kx60.
would u need the bracket u sell also??? or just that tab
I would have gone with the 65 with the disc but isnt that much more expensive than the 60?
I use the KX60 rear wheel & it works great! It saves a bunch of weight over a stock klx hub. Someone could easily weld a small tab onto the stock swingarm. Don't overheat it though. Better idea would be to get an aftermarket swingarm. They have the tab on there already. They all seem to be set up for the KX60 backing plate. Pit Bikes Rule!
