marzocchi break options?

This is a discussion on marzocchi break options? within the KLX110, DRZ110, TTR90 forums, part of the General Talk category; my breaks suck, super soft. other then bleeding them, are there any other options for me? is there a better front break set up that ...

    marzocchi break options?

    my breaks suck, super soft. other then bleeding them, are there any other options for me? is there a better front break set up that i can bolt on? thanks
    Billetware cradle frame and swing arm, Marzocchi forks, TCS shock, 88 super head, Two Brothers pipe, Tag bars, MOTO XXX graphics....klx 143, marzohhi forks, TCS shock, Billetware swingarm, Two Bros pipe. MOTO XXX graphics

    sdg dual piston, bbr front brakes, kx65 with siktendencies bracket or the hayes. I think those are your main options. I believe a cr85 setup works as well.

    honesty the formula are really good just the lever has bad leverage.. get an ASV lever and it makes a huge difference they arent all spongy and soft there super good.. works awesome

    I would also try the ASV lever. It made A world of difference on my hayes front brake.

    If you can find an SDG dual piston setup, or Pax's version, it works VERY well. BBRs is the same single piston caliper used on the front and rear of many imports, it works, but I like the dual piston better personally.

    somtimes the caliper doesnt fit correct on the rotor. Make sure its not at an angle. Look at the pads and rotor see if they are getting 100% contact a relaxed position, if there is a gap front or rear, that may be your problem.

    I ran the sdg dual piston for a while and it does in fact work great. Only thing that sucked was the reservoir. Brake lever had no feel whatsoever so I switched to the bbr.
