PitBike Race in Orange, TX 4/04/09

We will be having a PitBike Racing Saturday April 4th 2009.

The track is located in Beaumont, TX off of I-10.

We will have full concessions and Crawfish after the races brought to you by Van Choate and Hush Puppy Restaurants.



The tracks is:

Beaumont Motocross Park

Hwy 124 in Fannett



The track is a true outdoor style track built for PitBike. Gotta See it!!!



Classes will be:



10" 10 & under

10" Beginner

10" Open

12" 10 & under

12" Beginner

12" Novice

12" Intermediate

Super Stock 110cc

Bigger Minis (up to 150cc)

Mini 4 Stroke (up to 200cc)

Money Class

Womens Open

It will be a day race. I will post up more info by the weekend. I am going to talk to a local band and try and get a live band out there. We will have a concession stand stocked with pretty much whatever you want. The owner of the property owns numerous seafood restaurants in southeast Texas. We will have a crawfish boil during the award ceremonies. It really is something you don't want to miss.

Orange is the first town you come to in Texas. Right past the Louisana/Texas border. Go to mapquest.com and type in the addresses. They have hotels and you can camp out if you'd like.

I will have pics after the weekend. Right now it is just the layout. We have 20 dump trucks bringing in dirt next week to make the jumps. We have a month to get the place in perfect shape. It is in a friends backyard 4 acres. The track is all wooded but you can see the whole track from one spot.

patrick, what do you think about adding super stock 110 class? like vegas rules except stock displacement? based on the honor system.

thanks guys i dont think me nor patrick thought this would get so big this fast. matt and i headed to beaumont right now and we will be working on the track tomorrow and test riding it.

We did lots of work on the track today, and it flows really well. Lots of work left to do, but its gonna be sick by the time April 4th rolls around.
