Hey guys our local track here is hosting a pitbike race may 5th and its one of there first ones of the year. The track had just gotten a new owner and he is very pitbike friendly , considering i bought 2 full mods off him and sold him a couple as well ! The owner called and talked to me a couple weeks ago and was wanting to get sponsors and people to help out with the race , im pretty sure wholesale cycle is in as well as kames and some other places. The track is not very technical , but also a high speed 3rd gear and consists of tabletops, downhills and step ups. I hit every jump there but one on my stock mod so dont be afraid to come out and ride. Hope to get a pretty good turnout considering itll be the weekend of vegas and wont be able to get some of my buddies out there. I will update you guys more a the week closes in !
Gates open normally at 1pm
Sign up at 2:30pm
Practice at 3:30pm
Race at 5pm
heres a little birdsview of the track , and also some recent pics of previous pitbike races

I got the details! This is Jay Hershey and I'm running the pitbike races for Jason Rodgers at Malvern this year.
The same 3 classes will be racing that I usually have at the Summit County Fair pitbike races.
1. 10" stk/mod: no clutch, 88cc max 2. 12" stk/mod: no clutch, 124cc max 3. OPEN $$$: 14" front max and 12" rear max
Top 5 in the stk/mod classes will recieve awards and the top 5 in the Open $$$ will get PAID!
Gates open at 1pm. $10 gate fee. Sign-up is at 2:30pm, practice at 3:30pm and racing starts at 5:00pm. $25 for the first class and $20 for your second class. 2 moto format with motocross scoring to determine overall finishes.
Any question, you can call or text me at 440-213-8041 or post below my comments on this forum. Thanks! I hope to see all the familiar faces that I see at Summit!

I imagine you saw my post on PR, I'd like to come out and ride myself, but they don't, or won't have a class for an old man on a 150F. You think there's anybody there you could talk to so I could ride at future events? If I had to-- I'd run with the money class, but I'd get smoked, so it wouldn't be a ton of fun for me. Or... let me run with 12 inch stock mod, and give me some sort of handicap or something.... hahaha! I love riding and racing pit bikes, so I really don't care if I trophy or not, but I would like to have somebody to race against.
I raced indirectly against one of the Pierce's at the TV Land R&R race. With me on my 150F, and the one bro on his stock mod, we were pretty close throughout the race. If I had a 10 second handicap or something-- maybe I could run w/stock Mod? ----L*64
Great Jay-- thanks! I mentioned before that I didn't have enough notice to make this event-- (work Saturday night). BUT-- you can count on me coming to the next rounds. I don't care about trophies, I just wanna ride, and help make the scene happen! Thanks again! ---L*64
