Masters of Mini to send top racers to Mini Moto SX in Vegas

Transworld Motocross’ Masters of Mini Pit Bike Series, taking place in the Northeast, just got a huge boost of credibility. Transworld will be sending the series winners of the Modified class (50-89cc, up to 12 inch rear wheel) and the Unlimited class (111+cc, up to 12 inch rear wheel) to the biggest little event in the country – the Mini Moto SX held in the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas May 3 & 4, 2007.

The winners will be entered into the 10” Amateur and 12” Amateur classes respectively. Entries and hotel will be paid for by Transworld as the overall series prize. The #3 Round MoM Motard Event is in 9 days at Cycles 128 in Beverly MA Sunday Nov 12th. Sign ups are welcome day of the race.

Round 3 this Sunday at Cycles 128 in Beverly MA

We don’t ask if you have “what it takes to survive” to sound cool – it’s a real question! MoM racers might once again be tested Sunday… This event is Rain or Shine – unfortunately we have no other options for a rain date so we ARE running no matter what – We hope you can join us! The MoM warriors are no strangers to poor weather as evidenced by how many of you came out for the first Rocky Hill Race in the beginning of October. If you sickies were willing to run in deep mud and 2-4 inches of standing water back then, then you will have no worries this weekend if the worst comes our way – the nice thing about the track at Cycles is that asphalt will not wash away and the best riders will prevail. Hey, they run Superbike races in the rain – so why can’t we run our pit bikes?

Registration 9-10:30, practice to follow, racing after that

As a special treat Red Bull will be featuring the East Coast Premiere of Lock n’ Load – the new Nitro Circus Movie and from what we hear this one is even crazier than the last 3 combined… The movie will be shown inside Cycles after the awards are done and is a Free Show for all. So… (you guessed it) Bring Friends!

***Additionally our friends at Red Bull came up with the coolest idea I have hear this year. In an effort to remember where this all started the energy drink innovators are offering up 5 identically prepared, stock crf 50s for a special relay race. Details will be given on race day but the executive summary is this – 5 man teams - $50 per team to enter ($10 per person), relay race. The bikes are bone stock with bars and tires only. This is what it is all about – it is all about the rider and team strategy, not how much money daddy spent on your recockulous motor. Only 5 teams will be racing so sign up is first come first served. This race is only available to racers already racing Sunday – meaning you can not show up and just enter the Red Bull Relay – this has to be at least your third class. You do NOT have to be pre registered for Round 3 to enter this race. This race WILL BE A DASH FOR CASH! Red Bull wants to make sure you have Pizza money. Big props to Red Bull for keeping it real!

Parking is VERY limited so plan on bringing your pop up tent and bikes inside and parking on the street – we appreciate your cooperation with this – this way will insure everyone gets a good spot to pit.

A big Thanks to all the MoM staff AND the Cycles staff who have done so much already to prepare for this race and who will undoubtedly be doing a ton more come race day. Also a big thanks to Matt Francis, Josh Bekerman, and Robb Swiatek who will be there documenting the whole show and making you guys look way better than you really are (and you know this!) – please support our cameramen!

Please spread the word. Come ready to race and have a blast – this year’s course is wider with more passing options. It is going to be ALL TIME!

See you Sunday! Bring Friends to hold your umbrella
