I put ape wheels and swing arm on my XR100, basically a bolt on. You need a washer on the front brake plate so it clears the forks, then a 420 chain and sprocket.
If I was going to build another I would just buy 04 nsr forks, triples, wheels, and brakes with the g-craft linkageless swing arm, rear master cylinder bracket, and rear brake reservoir. The swing arm basically sets the rear shock up like a CRF50. I think you can also run APE forks with kitaco lowers if you are doing nsr wheels.
You can also just lace 12" rims onto the stock hubs, but the stock brakes are junk.
What I think im going to do is buy a crf70 fork kit from Firepower, and run his motard wheel kit. So the front wheel will be a bolton, but the rear will be tricky with the disc brakes, and chain alignment. Im also running a lifan 150cc pushrod motor in it, so its kind of a wierd project. The only stock piece on the bike is the swingarm, because I had to rework most of the lower frame. I moved the downtube and tied it in with a custom cradle. Ill post up some pictures when i get the wheels and forks on. Its defanately a one of a kind.
i put some ysr50 rims on my xr100
Not the best pic, but it's what I had on hand.
02 XR100. We had 12s laced to the stock hubs. Wife runs it on kart tracks and parking lot tracks. The brakes aren't great, but for her current riding abilities they're more than adequate.

whoa! What did you do to light up the handlebars like that?

my buddys bike thats he just picked up for us to endurance next year.. cr85 forks, works shock and a "stock" engine
I love the 12's! I have rode a 100 with 17's, 16's and by far the 12's for a small kart track is the way to go. really opens up the amount of different lines you can take

My setup is a little different, im gonna have to find a 428 rear sprocket that will bolt onto the 12" mag wheels that is around a 42 tooth. I might have to get a few made. What kind of stability do you get with the 12's at higher speeds around 50 mph.?

I really like the 12's on tight tracks and i have never had any stability issues at that speed.
I'm going to be running a 14/12 setup with motard tires. Whats the best gearing setup for them?
As high as you can find. Lol
I think I run 16/41 on one xr100 and it is still low but pulls nicely with the 115cc. The 132cc is getting 17/35 to start off.
