Welp, there is no 'best' there is only what works for you. Different people ride with different styles. You may like tall bars rolled forward and narrow, others like 'em low and wide, etc.

Pro Taper makes some good bars, I'd suggest starting by looking at those.

I think if you hang off like road racers do , then low bars are it and if you ride mx style , high bars are it . You really won't know what works best for you until you try both ways .
    Just say'n ....

Yea but i did cut it down so the bar is only 1/4 inch above the tripple tree...Now if u want forks the work BBR set up allows U to drop the front VERY low without hitting the bars so u can slam the front.. almost all the other fork kits the top of the forks will hit the bars..BBRs mount is in front of the forks so u can slide them up or down with out hiting the bottm of the bars...I run the 100 & under class i got a Takegawa 95cc 4 speed auto clutch I run stock front end with stiffer springs but not the 1 inch taller fork tubes.. If u by some for there strength cut the 1 inch back off to keep the front low.. Thats where u get it turnin.. I have a 1 1/2 inch longer rear shock ( i shock I think) dunlop 90/90 tires and 15/36 gearing and for that class we sweep it..The thing is road racing a mini is like a big bike We also race AMA on the south east and the set up idea is the same lower the front raise the rear.. we can beat alot of bikes that are bigger cause a 50 being so small and light does handel better than anyother when set up like a road bike cause u are so low to the ground but they are hard to ride right.. a 50 with a 124se motor beats everything except the supermotard bike times when at the track and then on our 124 bike we are only a sec off the time like 38sec lap we were 37 37.5 over all so 50 will handel just need to get the setup right and for the street it is a totall 180 from what U want on the dirt there u need the front high to hit the bumps and rear low to dig after u have turned and shottin out of the corner... street is all about riddin the front and keep from pushin the front. there ya go illl stop being so long winded lol

Yea it wheelys im 5" 8 and it takes a little practice thats all... although it dosent come up but not a lot cause remeber its a 1 1/2 inches taller in the rear loading the front up with weight... with that 4 speed a 95 will run 62 64 mph. its fun but still simple but works good for the road.. Yea all of us buddies over here road race but we are all short lol

I just got these bars. They are the sickest ones I could find. They are Ryan Nyquist signature knee savers f/ Haro bikes, raw finish (of course). It takes a narrow clamp to mount these.

The down tubes go from 7/8" at the grip to 1 1/8" at the bottom.
