Moosehunter & JohnyB I race SEMRA Down here in the south.... And Moosehunter My set up almost identical looks with stock plastic Identical but I have a takegawa 95cc for the 100 and under class we sweep it... I have those SP5 and i have there stiffer setup if U call BBR they wiil send U stiffer damping rods and springs along with the 30wt oil... It will allow U to REALLY slam the front and turn much shaper.... The 10 inch rims are the best and quickest for turning there only down fall is if the speeds get over 60 or so they become twitchy but that doent happen at the track only when ridding around town... we also have 4 speeds in the bikes and very low Moose handel bars...I also have just a 1 inch longer swing arm to keep the OVERALL length down as a longer bike goes from side to side a little slower and is harder to hold a TIGHT line around some of the 180 turns on a cart track..
Taz , BBR has an even more stiffer set up than the current upgrade to the SP5's ??

The 12" front shouldn't be a problem, it's what I run, and despite my 70 dwarfing all the 50s at Cycles 128, it wasn't having problems hitting the same lines as the 50s, unlike the YZFs that had one line, and one line only through the chicane.
Wind resistance ??? Those damn kill buttons stick up so high on both of your bikes , I bet your bikes turn left really easy from all that wind drag on them ...![]()
No grips again !!!![]()

I believe he is developing something for the throttle housing side, and it involves a NASA nose cone tile piece.

The key is to slow down with the front brakes before you turn!Originally Posted by JohnnyB

And yes the 12" rims suck for tight go kart(sized) tracks.
