Good tire choice for the money. I ran those before the Dunlops. I really can't comment on the 12" front. However, on a tight track, I can see where it "may" slow down the steering too much. Only a guess...

Try it, my Son hated the 12" front, but if you ride super aggressive you may be able to turn it fast and stick it better.

Moosehunter & JohnyB I race SEMRA Down here in the south.... And Moosehunter My set up almost identical looks with stock plastic Identical but I have a takegawa 95cc for the 100 and under class we sweep it... I have those SP5 and i have there stiffer setup if U call BBR they wiil send U stiffer damping rods and springs along with the 30wt oil... It will allow U to REALLY slam the front and turn much shaper.... The 10 inch rims are the best and quickest for turning there only down fall is if the speeds get over 60 or so they become twitchy but that doent happen at the track only when ridding around town... we also have 4 speeds in the bikes and very low Moose handel bars...I also have just a 1 inch longer swing arm to keep the OVERALL length down as a longer bike goes from side to side a little slower and is harder to hold a TIGHT line around some of the 180 turns on a cart track..

The 12" front shouldn't be a problem, it's what I run, and despite my 70 dwarfing all the 50s at Cycles 128, it wasn't having problems hitting the same lines as the 50s, unlike the YZFs that had one line, and one line only through the chicane.

Wind resistance ??? Those damn kill buttons stick up so high on both of your bikes , I bet your bikes turn left really easy from all that wind drag on them ...

Actually, the kill button is a highly sophisticated GPS/LASER/Gyroscopic directional facilitator that will automatically move upward into the airstream whenever a weight shift to the left is premeditated by the rider. The micro-mini hydraulic actuator assembly was drafted, designed, and prototyped by Kurlon, who still remains very tight-lipped about it, to this day. He'll deny knowing anything about, just ask him. I believe he is developing something for the throttle housing side, and it involves a NASA nose cone tile piece.

Yea , it looks as if he's deff got alot of fine tune'n to do with that throttle gizmo cause it seems to add too much lean angle on that side .

The key is to slow down with the front brakes before you turn!

And yes the 12" rims suck for tight go kart(sized) tracks.
    One fine day!
