Motard gearing?
I am building a BBR Super pro frame with Marzocchi shiver forks, running 10inch wheels up front and rear.
For motor I have the 82cc BBR big bore kit + air filter and Alba pipe. I was thinking of 15/37 would this be ok for a indoor track that requires speed more then torque? I have access to a 14 front and a 36 rear also.
If any one is in the Montreal, Quebec, Canada area on thuesday night come out and ride with us at http://www.circuit500.com/ , riding from 7h30pm to 11pm for $40.00Can .
The track is nice asphalt, speed, long corners and 4 tight turns. I think they change the track every month.

16/36 will be a nice top speed bike and still have it on the bottom too.

Different Gearing?
It really depends on the length of the longest straightaway! You want to be pulling good in 4th until you have to downshift in to 3rd and slide into the corner!
I run china junk and use 3rd for infield and 4th in the long straight. Now with my Honda I run tall 16/37 but with at 124Takagawa motor and it can pull that gearing. Just bring a couple o f fronts to the track and find out.
