Not to sound stupid, but what exactly does a guy need to be somewhat competitive in like 10A (besides talent). Me and a buddy were thinking of coming from Wisconsin, but are in college and on limited budgets. We have SDG107's with hi-comp 114cc pistons, crower cams, porting, pipes, rev boxes, and lightened oil slingers. Suspension wise we have fox floats and the stock forks with shim stacks, although we may have DNM hornets by May. Again, sorry to sound stupid, but based on all I've read up on, boys don't mess around down there, and it's a long drive and big yen to spend for 15 minutes of track time...
And yes, I realize we ride knock-offs, and probably aren't welcome by half of the hardcore honda guys, but an honest answer is appreciated. If we would be completely wasting our time, let me know. Thanks!

Hey Motoman287...You can pit with us "knockoff" guys anytime. We all ride Pitsters and ther WILL be lots of em' out there. And to the guy who said he is going to "panic rev" right into me....Good Luck with that one! They don't call me "The Linebacker" for nothing. LOL You'll probably bounce off of me with your $15,000,000,000 dollar bike.
