Didn't really know where to put this so mods move it to whatever forum you believe it should be in.

It had been a while since I had raced my pit bike competitively but I was back in the area where I grew up cheering on my wife in her first race so I decided to race the pit bike class, just for fun. Unfortunatly only 4 bikes showed up, Two Pitsters (X4 and LXR) and one KLX, so lets say I was a bit out classed on my 2005 SSR C4 "partster" 10 inch bike. Add to the fact that we were running the entire course with the mini open riders, which the Open Outlaw/450 "A" riders were turning 2:30 minute lap times. Long story short it was a looong race for us pitbikers. I had a hell of a lot of fun even knowing I was going to be dead last the moment the gate dropped. I am really sore today.

haha me and my bro went to that track for testing, when we where up there for a loretta lynns qualifier at thunder valley

This track is about 350 miles east of Thunder Valley. Its built in the owners pasture ground in Nebraska. The owner (Jesse Wessels) has had this track for over 20 years. He also rides observed trials. He also hosts a trials and endurocross once a year there as well. He has concrete, rocks, trees, embankments all over the 100 acre area that he marks out his trials sections.

Me about 10 years ago :D

Well there is no track right next to Thunder Valley, Thunder Valley bumps right against the foothills on the west and Lakewood (suburb of Denver) to the east. The only track that is remotely like this one that is "near" Thunder Valley is Watkins but that is clear on the east side (about 40 miles) of the metro area past DIA near Watkins, CO off I-70 and its an entriely man made track where as this one is pretty much natural with some man made help. The pictures do not show all the jumps and obstacles.

I guess I forgot to say this track is in Nebraska, near Alma.

Yeah, I thought I had recognised your bike but was not sure. That was a long course. The wife did her first race that day, we decided to do it there rather than an unfamiliar track out here, so while I was there I figured why not bring the pit bike and race.
