Very nice. I would be interested in a roller. There is/was a local midbike class at a kart track but ive always held back on buying one because of the reliability issues and weak suspension. Ive been waiting for one of these for a few years now ever since the started popping up from china. I hope your endeavour comes into full fruition and this thing takes off. Let me know how I can be part of it.

That thing looks a lot like one of these.. Mini GP or here is how there made.........
I like it though I have a 190cc YX engine makeing over 20hp that would fit nice in there..

Where are you getting the CST slicks from I couldnt find them listed anywhere??
-
Very nice bike. I am very interested in purchasing one and maybe even two of them. Is the guy you are working with producing all the parts for these here in the US?
-

Kx65 kawi, and the sx 65 ktm's are mean little power plants. I raced a guy on the sx 65, and it is a FAST bike!
-
Not alotta KTM motors out there though. I'd do either a KX65 motor, or an XR100 motor. The XR motor would be the easiest to ride (for a kid, or an adult), and it would let riders who want to race the series, but don't want to plunk down $3-5K to build a bike be competitive on an $800 XR100 from the classifieds. The thing is stone reliable too. I believe Service Honda can get a brand new XR/CRF100 motor for around $1000 from Honda. It would let $1500 NSR50's be competitive, along with NSF100's. Once you slap in a KX65 motor-- you have to sink alotta cash into an XR100 lump in order for it to compete... then sink alotta cash into the KX65 motor to compete with the KTM.
IMHO-- the XR/CRF100 motor is plentiful, easy to ride, inexpensive, and very buildable, and is the SV650 motor of minis. The KX65 motor would be good on big tracks, but it'll suck on smaller tracks, which is all alot of us have to race on. I could rip on my Metrakit racer on big tracks-- but the abrupt power delivery made it difficult to plow around tight tracks.
Your goal is to make the racing affordable, fun, and competitive. Put the XR lump in it! --L*64

He said the frame already had CRF50 type engine mounts welded and desighned in it. Lot of change to make anything else fit.. Quote from the first page "BUT BASICLY IT TAKES A HORIZONTAL ( HONDA 50 STYLE ) MOTOR. I HAD A 125 4 SPEED MOTOR LAYING AROUND AND THAT IS WHAT IS IN THE BIKE I HAVE AT THE MOMENT, AND ITS A SLOW TURD P.O.S. MOTOR SO I HAVENT RODE IT WITH A 12-14HP MOTOR THAT IS COMPEDITIVE WITH A F2 ( KX65 ) BIKE AND THIS MOTOR IS MAKING AROUND 7-8HP SO I HAVE BEEN RUNNING IT IN THE F1 QUALIFIERS JUST FOR TEST AND TUNE AND TO SEE HOW IT DOES IN A RACE SETTINGe " Good thing to cause I could fit anything from a stock CRF50 engine to TB 117 4 speed.. Or a GPX125 makes 8 hp same as a XR100 bone stock.. Stock XR engine has close to 10 hp there are a ton of bone stock 4 speed China engines that make 10hp.. I also have a YX190cc engine makeing over 20hp that thing would be fun with it stuffed up in there..

I dont know, sounds like Pitster-Hype to me.
First you say they are made in the US, then you state they are just assembled in the US. You state top-of-the-line rebuildable suspension components, then you say they are actually knock-offs of Ohlins stuff that are still being worked on to be made rebuildable.
Now you are pushing people to get into the hype and get a smokin' deal on the first order.
Maybe I am somewhat wrong, but sounds sort of scam-ish, and there are a ton of scams going on lately.

I've seen this guy post before, and I don't think he's trying to scam anybody. I believe that he's an enthusiast trying to get a really cool project off the ground. Gotta give him credit for that. I thought about doing something like this, but my version would consist of a space frame that would utilize NSR50/NSF100 components. --L*64

Hammer is legit - I race mini's here in CO and have seen this bike and been completely 'pantsed' on the track by him riding it with a "turd" motor - he's also a very accomplished big bike racer - on everything from old 2smoke stuff to modern 600/1000 stuff. flat out good racer and passionate about the sport. If anything - trying to test the market interest in this product before going all in and getting sunk - respectable business accumen in todays economy... I am not affiliated with him in this venture - just saying Im acquainted, have laid hands on his prototype and can tell you it aint a scam
now - if he starts to call himself the prince of zimbabwe - who's been unfairly imprisoned and asks for donations to free him - with payback with interest - then it's a scam!!!

Can anyone tell me if it's possible to make this bike street legal?
If so I got about 5 friends plus me who want one yesterday. Cash in hand!
-
What kind of forks, where to get them, how much, how long are they, and will they fit a 45/48mm clamp?
Thanks man
-
When u get them street legal let me know cause I want one
-
I am so going to the next RM minimoto race to see this thing. It looks SICK
-
If there was somewhere in the St Louis area running this stuff i would be ALL IN. Good luck with the bikes!
-
Wow this thread has been quiet for a long time! Any new development on this bike or w website or such???
-
First time seeing this and I'm with Jordo (well except the cash in hand part, LOL!) I would LOVE a street legal version of this. The bike looks proper and proportional. Seems like it would be sweet to have one to ride around town with a 160 motor or larger.
Any updates?!

Any progress on the bike? --L*64
