toes were pointed at the ground and the bike flipped over and landed on the ball of my foot and smashed my toes into the ground...
Its good lol
if you cant walk on it, or put; lets say.... 20 punds on it, its ***ed up. either sprained,or its broke..
thats how i know when ive broken something..and then you get an x-ray.. &BAM!, it hits you like a brick wall of reality..lol
good luck with that, hope it works out for ya..
Thats a bummer
if it hurts way to F$#% ing bad!!! then u just know....
PS get well soon...
ouch thats a bummer man.
sounds like you prolly broke the metatarsals
Black and Blue toe's?
all of the above. and u will know if its broke, it wont hurt too bad to start with then after a while it will hurt worse that anything and swell up usually. try taking a normal step, if u feel ur bones grinding or something to that effect youll just know also squeeze ur foot around the whole thing and see if it moves funny. this will all hurt like $hit but its the same thing the doctor is going to do. also wiggle ur toes even if it hurts, $hit will grind and pop kinda if its broke. broken bones suck, just be glad its not ur knee.
Get a tuning fork. Hit it against something so it vibrates. Then touch it to the part were it hurts. Ull know real quick
Try to follow your metatarsal and phalange bones through your foot with your finger tips, if there is an irregularity (obvious) then there is a break. if you have dorsi and planar movement of your toes (foreward and backward) by use of your foot muscles without wrenching in pain then most likely it is a severe sprain. You can also dislocate at the knuckles but this is far less likely.
I broke my talas (in center of foot) this winter. I was pretty sure I broke my ankle bad when I crashed but when I took my boot off I could kinda walk and it didn't swell up super bad. I had pretty bad pains so I got an xray the next day and it was fully broke...just get it checked out man!
The best way would be to go to a good dr. who knows what they are talking about and have them x ray it. Last May I ended up breaking my 1st metatarsal right across the joint. I went to have it x rayed the next day and unfortunately, the main doc was out on a conference at the time so I had his assistant doc take and examine the x rays. She tells me it's hyperextended and to wear a boot for 3-4 weeks and it'll be good. I get a call back from the main doc a week later when he gets back and he refers me to a radiology center to get a CT scan which shows the bone broken off right across the joint (how the 1st doc missed that, i still wonder..). Anyway, i end up going in for surgery a week later. I was in a cast a week after surgery and had it for 6 weeks, then walked in a boot for another 4-6 or so. The point of this whole story is to just make sure you get it looked at so it heals right if anythings broken or you'll be sorry later
