Classic style minitrail of the month for March & April 2015

Classic style minitrail of the month for March & April 2015:

    Bike's eligible for contest-

all Honda Mini Trails, QA50, Z50, Z50R, ZB50, CT70, Monkey, Dax, Chaly and all reproduction styles of the original Honda Trail Bikes. The intention of this rule is to limit the class to Trail Bike style mini's. Monthly winners will be decided by Planet Mini's Member poll.

    Rules-

Any Rim Diameter up to 12".

Horizontal Honda style engines only. Any size CC as long as it still resembles the Horizontal Honda style engines.

Post them up !!!!! Like the other bike polls, try not to quote someones post that has a bunch of pictures in it.....I may also weed out a few posts to keep all the entries on the first page, so dont be offended if a few random posts get deleted till all the entries and pictures are in.

One of my two 1970 K2's, it is 100% original. I bought it in 2014 ($600 for those wondering), it came with a vintage rear rack (great shape), buddy pegs, some K2 parts and a street title. I even got both keys in the deal! It runs great, I plan to do a light restoration. Everything works, bulbs, switches and etc. The tank is in awesome shape and the taillight frame is even straight and the paint still looks good (the rear rack has protected it all these years). I am the third owner, the original owner told me that he registered it right after he purchased it new. He said he would take his three children for rides... All at the same time!!! One kid sat on the headlight/triple clamp, one sat on his lap and the other rode on the rear rack.
I bought it for parts to use on my basket case K2 but it is way nicer than that bike so I couldn't bring myself to destroying its value and separating such an intact piece of history. As soon as "she" saw it I was told that I can keep the basket case and she will take this one... That's a small price to pay to keep her interested and actively involved in minis.
As a side note it is an early K2, one of the first 10,000 made, it was manufactured in February of 1970.

1969 ct70 completely restored. The motor is a Geezer built 88cc race head with HD clutch. The color is powder coat with a little sparkle that I tried to show in one of the pics.

(Sorry tried to find the OE photos with out my logo in them)

It started life as a 1981 Z50R as you can see in the before photo.

It was completely stripped down and rebuilt with all new parts. The motor was also stripped down and the cases opened , inspected and cleaned and then reassembled with new parts.

It has an 88cc big bore kit, HD clutch, HD rear shocks, extended aluminum swingarm, Complete new front fork internals, new seat, tank, adult friendly BMX bars, new tires, tubes, brakes, cables, fenders , Sprocket set, Muffler and so much more.

It has custom headlight brackets and a headlight off of the K3-78 Z50 Minitrail for that night time riding.

    Thanks for looking
