MiniSX09, Thanks to everyone and feel free to give us your feedback!!

Sorry guys,,, I decided to start the thread over cause it was getting a little off topic,,, so please if you went to the race please tell us how we did and tell us how we can improve on the next race Tim and I (Gary) do together. We appreciate everything all the sponsors did for us and we were super stoked on how the event went and would like to thank the following:

1-TB Parts- Mike from Trail Bikes has got to be one of the most down to earth, helpful, and supportive guys I get to deal with on a weekly basis. We run Mike's big bore kits, heads, cranks, and carbs on all of our race bikes (Including the Bike that Ryan Beat took 3rd in Mini Moto this last year in the pro class). Would like to say thank you and my invitation to bunk at my house for our next race is still open,, so give me a call anytime and I will see you at Vegas!!

2-Magic SC- Tyler is the man when it comes to making graphics/flyers/or anything to do with art as well as a great freind to have around in our corner. I have put plenty of stress on his plate in the past and present because of my last minute, 2 in the morning graphics that he has to print all the way up to the last minute before he is running out the door to an event. So I guess this is a Sorry (For being a total PITA) and a thank you for helping us out on this event (It was huge!!!) and most of all thanks for being a freind that helps me out when ever I am in desperate need!!

3-Pitsterpro- Gary, Matt, Lil Matt, Tyler, Juicebox (Our 30 sec. girl) All these guys/girl are what I call Go To guys, because they all will drop what they are doing and help a fellow rider that is in need of help,, that isn't a comon thing for competing manufactures to do for one another but it is a comon place at the Pitster rig at every race they go to. And coming all the way out from Utah was a long journey and a symbol of their support to the mini scene!! An example of there generosity was when Kyle Engle needed a 10" bike for the pro class they offered up Brad Ripples 10" bike for him to ride and ended up accomidating Kyle Engles preference to the Extreme 10" rear tire (Which isn't a cheap tire and tube) that we both would like to thank Red baron for selling us that tire and tube.

4-Red Baron- You guys came out from AZ,, that is a long drive and we appreciate you guys coming out to the event,, that was huge! And like I mentioned above,, thanks a lot for being a team player and selling pitster the 10" extreme tire and tube,, that is an awesome thing to do when it is for the competition. By the way those Stock/mod CRF50's are always a fun bike to watch out on the track,, it keeps me coming out to the races just to watch you guys battle,, we will see you tomorrow hopefully at Lake Havasu,, thanks again for coming out.

5-Two Brothers Racing- Bringing the "million dollar" rig out was really impressive to see in the pits,, it totally made the event that much more legit (Thanks Tim for hooking that up-TGRP), and for helping us on the raffle bike with all the bling and parts that you guys gave us,, that was really huge and Tim and I really appreciate the support for that build!! We run Two Brothers Pipes on all our KLX110 12" and 10" Race bikes at STR, so it really meant a lot to us that you guys came out and supported the race and scene,,thanks again Cully and Mark!!!

6-Izzy- Here is a guy that doesn't have a company he was trying to promote at the event but rather he just wanted to help Tim and I out on the race,,, now that is worth a very special thanks to Izzy for coming through with all the Factory Motorsports crew as well,,,, for a rider to give $300 to the event and not have any angle on the event other then he wants to help out the mini scene that he loves,, that is going above and beyond the call of duty,,,, you are my Hero Izzy!!

7-SGR- thanks a lot to the Stagg boys,, I hope you guys had a good time and it was awesome to see you guys in the pits again,, it has been a while. Jeremiah Staggs has been in the mini game for a long time and seen just about everything,, he is deff. a great guy to deal with and look forward to seeing you out at the next race.

8-BBR Motorsports-Larry and BBR Motorsports probably got tired of Tim and I calling trying to get them to come out but I am sure Larry enjoyed my fabricated stories about the kids from the orphanage (SP?) and the cancer patience that where coming out that only had a couple months to live and all they wished for was to see BBR and Derek costell out at the event!! LOL Thanks a lot Larry and all the Brown Brothers for getting Derek Costella out to the event I know it meant a lot to the fans that got to see him perform magic on the BBR Perimeter 50 and 110 bikes that he made death sections of the track look like a stroll in the park,,,,, awesome bike guys!

9-Feal Suspension- Odie was one of the first guys to come on board,,, I met Odie at CSUF when we both were going for our BA in Marketing so he isn't just a guy that does our race bike suspension for Kyle Engle (On the Sano bikes) Jake Canada and Ryan Beat (STR bikes), Tyson Bermister (MotoHP Bikes) and the list goes on and on,, his expertise in mini Bike suspension is unmatched and his big bike suspension is some of the best around (He use to be a RG3 tech and has done all the pros suspension in the past)

10-MotoHP- Eddie (Owner of MotoHP) and I have been friends for a long time now and would like to tell him thanks for coming out and supporting our event,, Haven't seen you at the track in a long time and you have been a presence that has been missed,, so don't be a stranger man,, look forward to you being at our next event, thanks again.

11-Power Balance- I don't know if everyone noticed them on vendor row,, but they are a company that sells bracelets and a couple other things that give your body better balance. If you don't believe they work just ask Derek Costella because he tried out the test that they do to show you how the product works and derek was so blown away he ended up getting one and wore it that day at the race.

12- Shade Racing- I don't know if you noticed that shade was out all day taking pictures in the pits as well as on the track. So Tim and I would like to thank Shade (PM Member) for coming out and supporting the race with sending in sponsorship money as well as shooting pics for everyone else to see that didn't get a chance to make it out,, that was awesome man. Here is another example of someone that gave us sponsorship money that doesn't really have a company to promote but rather gave money out of his pocket because he wanted to support the sport,,, that is huge!

13- AC Racing- These guys are great,, I hit them up last minute and without delay they gave me some ramps to give away a long with stickers. They were offering some discounts as well so if people are interested I can get that information for you guys!

14- Troy Lee Designs- Ricardo Gonzales is my Sales rep over at TLD and I hit him up to come out with the gang but unfortunately they had allready comited to the Enzo ride day so instead he hooked up the TLD Hats and t-shirts,, that was awesome man,, thanks again for pulling through at the last minute.

15-Uni- I don't know if anyone else knows it or not but Uni air filters is what I put on all our race bikes. The 4" long by 1 1/2" ID filter that is the Angled version is the one we use on the VM26 carbs and the 4" long by 1 3/4" ID filter that is angled is what we use on the Molkt Pitster carbs as well as the PWK28 carbs on all our race bikes. Those two filters are the only filters we will run and work perfect with our KLX110's. I had told UNI that I didn't think a lot of people knew that the angled 4" long filter worked on the KLX110 and that people thought it was only CRF50 style engines. So they packaged up some banners and 20 air filters (10 1 1/2" and 10 1 3/4") to give away with the raffle prizes. Thanks a lot UNI, we look forward to seeing you guys come out to the next event as well,, you made some people really happy that night.

16-Mini Bike Riders- Brad and Shelby both came together for this event to make the track layout something we wouldn't soon forget!! Thanks for not just taking the time out of both of your hectic days to design a track for this event but rather for just being part of this event and giving us all the support (Mentally and physically ) ! So Tim and I would like to thank Mini Bike Riders for all there hard work and mostly for being there for both Tim and I as our freinds!! "I love you man" (Shelby and Brad)

17-Dirt alliance- Last but not least,,, Tim and I would like to thank them for coming out and scoring the event with their transponder system that just makes for a bad-azz event that is totally legit!! For those of you that don't know Ken Johnson,,, he has been part of the mini scene since it started,,, first with a company that you might now named "SANO" ,,, he then went into becoming a Race promoter for races such as Del Mar (Which I think was probably the best Mini Event on the planet to date), then now with Dirt alliance promoting big events as well as scoring events with the transponder system they used for our event. Thanks again for coming out and making our event that much better.

18-Planet minis-Almost forgot Nick,,, thanks a lot nick for letting us use your site for getting out the word to our event,, that was awesome. Planning an event is one of those things that you have to get help from every angle and you pulled through for us and it was very much appreciated,, thanks again from Tim and I.

Now that I have thanked everyone that sponsored the event I would like to thank the most important part of the formula and that is "YOU",,, the fans and participants/racers are what makes these events happen. So without a loyal fan/racer base these races could never happen.

So Tim and I would like to thank everyone that came out to support the race and we can't wait to do another race in the future for all of you guys to come out and enjoy.

NOTE: We are very responsive to your suggestions to make the next race even better so if you guys would let us know what we could do that you guys feel would make it better don't hold back and let us have it,, we have thick skin and will do anything for the event to be a huge success but we can't make it better without a little feedback! lol

Track could be a little bit less gnarly. I'm in it for fun and don't wanna get hurt. Seemed to see a lot of people wad it up pretty nasty.. I think a good compramise would be a track in between what we had before with the old track, and what the minisx09 track was. overall excellent event!!! I was very impressed and had a great time. I just think the track was a little to gnarly for what we are trying to do. (IMO) and I heard many people say the same thing on raceday..

Thanks Matt, I think with a little bit of warm weather and it staying light longer it will be the best combination for the race to be bigger and better next time. So summer around June is what Tim and I had talked about before but we will see what we figure out in the next month or so.

You and Tim should hold three more races before MMSX, just so everybody can get back into the groove of racing.

    Tim/ Gary,

You guy's did an excellent job. The track was amazing something the Minibike scene needed. The pricing was low the competition was great the trophies were badazz. The event was 1st class.

I say this all the time "People talk about doing events all the time only a FEW step up and make it happen" Keep steppin up!!!!

Keep pushing and get all the small kinks worked out. I can't wait till the next one!!

    Good Job!! Ken Johnson

As much as I wanted to and planned on coming to this event, lack of riding/practicing the last couple months kept me from making the trip. Even though I was not able to make it, I knew that with TGR, MBR, STR, and everyone else involved it would be epic and one of the best if not the best race of the year, All great people and love what they do. I WILL be at the next one for sure.

Great Event! guys. The only thing i would have changed would have been to leave the triple and doubles were they are same height, same distance gaps, just fill them in somewhat similar to the finishing table, maybe a little deeper just so you dont die if you dont make it. You will gett the same effect as if the gap was there, for the airborn and the (case'r) crowd like myself will be able to go to work monday and those are my 2cents.

Thanks Gary! I had a very good time and was glad I could help out. The event was very very fun and it was even better hanging out with all our friends down there!

Gary and Tim, you guys put on this event and the whole feeling there was awesome! Everyone was totally chill and just hanging out, not like other events where people are uptight and stressed out for each moto. It seemed more like a ride day with motos involved! And the pro classes where soooooooooo much better than any Vegas MMSX I have ever seen.

Big thanks Tim, Gary and Ken!! You wont find three better guys to be in charge of an event! We are all looking forward to coming to the next event and this time we will bring more Burgers and Hotdogs!! lol

I loved the low stress of this event (vs vegas) and how everyone was just having a good time, no matter what bike you ride or who you are. It was amazing watching Costella and Engle battle it out! Engle was rippen for never even swinging a leg over the LXR 10, and Costella was a cool as ever.

Anyway stay in touch guys and let me know how to help for the next event!

Also get some motard tires and come race the indoor with us!
