Daytona ANIMA engine prices and release date are finally out *dyno chart*
Ive been waiting for this for awhile. I dunno if this is news to everyone but its news to me. Release is now set for June 2012....it was suppose to be summer of 2011 but we all know THAT didnt happen. Pricing is pretty damn good in my opinion for a 4 valve motor.
uhh "Release date June 2012" sorry if thats not specific enough for ya...previous release date was summer 2011, but with all great things there are set backs. Hopefully they can come through on this date. Only a few companies in europe have tested with this motor. Im pretty sure no one in the US has seen it in person unless they went overseas.
We have two of these 150 motors demo right now. So far they are nice. They come with a ton of wiring and we were clueless as we got no instructions being test dummies and all, lol. You have 5 different maps on the stock box that are switched by plugging different wire combinations together, They basically change the rev limiter. We have them both set to 13,900rpm right now and my tokyo mods box on my 138 SOHC Takegawa 4valve+R is set at 13,600. They have very similar power as my 138 taky (which is basically the best of everytihg you can get), I have a slight advantage on weight though. These motors weigh around 45lbs, but are rev happpy and smooth! We really like the newly designed flywheel and ignition set-up. It is the best of both worlds between outer rotors and full rotors. We have beat the crap out of these with zero failures so far!

good info , thanks for taking the time to put it out , sounds like a very good motor for the price , going to be testing a 190 ?

Honestly the way Cody and I ride, we are nervous of the piston speed the 190 will produce with our rev limiter hitting riding style.... I'm not sure, we may get a couple to try. Wholesale-cycle/Pirahna (our sponsor) just ordered 50 of the 150's...... or so I heard.
why dont you set the limiter on 12k insted? it stop making power at 12k!
the butt-dyno doesn't feel this way... why would they include a map setting that has the limiter at 15,100rpm if it stopped making power at 12k.... Dyno charts are good for a general comparrison or picture..... I gauruntee the little things you can do to a motor will smooth the power out and make it a little flatter up top as opposed to a sharp decline... We are running a slightly different carb setting and a different pipe, on u4.4... those changes alone make that posted dyno chart obsolete for our set-up....
