Medina Fair Race-- Any Ohio riders going?
Any locals racing the Medina Fair Tuesday night? I'm planning on going. I'm hoping some guys show up with bigger pit bikes so I have somebody to race against. I'd like to see a HUGE pit bike turnout. This should have been posted weeks ago now that I think about it. --L*64

Awwwww man! The race was a damn good time! 2 full stock mod races! 9 Open guys. If you didn't go, then ya missed out! Pit bikes are NOT dead in Ohio-- that's for sure.
One small downer was that they let a guy on a KLX140L into Stock Mod... hahaha! The kid is a local expert on big bikes too. I guess the people at sign up are basically clueless about what the pit bike classes are, but this kid knows better than to do that. I don't know if he got a trophy or not for it, but I know the other dozen guys in the race on stocker 110's were pretty annoyed by it. The good thing is that he checked out after the gate dropped, so it didn't stink up anybodys' race-- other than taking somebody's trophy.
There was a fair amount of complaining about the trail bikes racing with the pit bikes, even in the Open class-- (I ride a showroom stock 150F myself). At a pit bike only event, they have classes for the bigger bikes. When we're at a regular big bike race that just happens to have a coupla pit bike classes-- they just lump us in with the 12 inch mod bikes. What they should probably have done was to divide the class into two or three races, that simply race together at the same time. Like: 12 Open, 14 Open, and maybe Vet or whatever. They'd have to cough up a few more plaques at the end, but I think 14 Open would attract alotta riders that have a bigger trail bike sitting around that that they could race really inexpensively. Seems like that's the name of the game anymore. --L*64
