    Anima 150cc vs 190cc

    Hi,

    Here from Portugal.

I've ordered a YCF Factory SP3 with a Daytona Anima 190cc as my first pitbike, but I'm afraid it would be overkil for my experience (no experience at all with pitbikes, only street bikes, 600cc and above) and the wheel size/wheel base of this bike. I'm still able to change the order.

The price difference between both bikes is only 100USD (same spec).

Is the 190 rideable or is it too much for this bike?
Should I keep the order or change it for a 150cc?

    Thanks!

I have no personal experience with either engine, so take what I have to say with a grain of salt.

190cc sounds like an aful lot of power to put through engine cases that trace thier roots back to designs with half the displacement. I'd be concerned about it's longevity more than anything else, and its not like the 150cc bikes are slow.

On the other hand, for only $100 more, it sure sounds tempting.

I don't think we get YCF bikes here in the USA, I wonder if they are related to anything that we have? Edit: Google says therecvis a US distributor

The old saying is 'There is no replacement for displacement." You'll be fine with street bike and bicycle experience

for the extra 100 GET THE 190
the 190 provides very smooth power and you could not build the 150 into a 190 for 100usd

as other stated I would recommend going with the 190. With the same talent on the bike the 150 could keep pace but the 190 has so much more for bottom end torque. The 150 you must ride like a 2 stroke to get all of the power.

You will regret not getting the 190. Easiest extra $100 you will ever spend.
