    Project El Cheapo

    HERE IS MY STEAL OF A DEAL I JUST BOUGHT. ITS A 1983 YZ 125K I BOUGHT AT A SWAP MEET FOR $100. IT JUST NEEDS A PIPE AND SILENCER. I JUST BOUGHT A CARB FOR IT ALSO. TODAY I JUST SHOT SOME CARB CLEANER IN THE INTAKE AND HEY IT STARTED THEN DIED NOT BAD FOR NO CARB. SO HERE IS A PICTURE I WILL GET SOME UP WHEN IT IS DONE. NOT GOING TO SPEND OVER $300 ON THE WHOLE BIKE. IF ANYONE HAS OR CAN FIND ME A PIPE AND SILENCER THAT WOULD BE AWSOME.

    I had a C model, too! It was a year old at the time. Inside of my knees always hurt from the huge shock bulges, and ankles from the hoses until I mounted the resivours upside down. Super cool welded up aluminum arm. Brother left the garage door up and it got stolen, but I got a new YZ465 to replace it with.



    Now I have a 71 JT1 with YZ60 suspension and a YZ60 with a 161cc XR"80" being fitted up.

    Likely take some mods, but it's cheap.

    There any no pipes or silencers on ebay. I need one for $50-$70 shipped since this is a cheap project. Anyone seen one has to be for a 1983.
