    carb problem

    hi, my friends carb leaks out of the carb and airfilter when ever he turns the gas on. any idea on what could be wrong? thank you.

    More than likely he has something stuck in the float needle passage not allowing the fuel to cut off when the bowl is full. Probably a peice of plastic from the gas tank or something. Easy fix, just take off the bowl and remove the float and you should be able to see the dirt with you eye, but if you cant see it just spray out all the passages with some carb cleaner and then blow dry with an air gun if you have one. Good luck
