CR80 Gas Cap leakage?

    CR80 Gas Cap leakage?

    Everytime i go up a steap hill i can see gas dripping slowly out from under the cap. I replaced the gasket but still does it. Anyody know why this is happening.

    Well good sir i would advice of a bbr billet i think they are called. They provide excellent leakage protection and are compatable with xr/crf gas caps so any of those would work like a jiffy. Have fun and always wear protection when riding anything!

    Possibly, the cap is cracked where the threads stop and the top begins, and you can't see it. When it is tightened down all the way on the gas tank, it separates just enough to allow for spillage.
