    Re: Stolen 110

I just got into these 110s about six months ago and I've picked up three of them since all from craigslist. I check the Bay areas and Sacramento's daily and don't remember seeing that bike or any of its parts. At Hollister every other weekend as well. I believe I can safely say that thing was not sold on either of these craigslist sites. Sorry man

I still have a track in the backyard but it is overgrown. I did get out of minis and somewhat miss it. I did not get out due to this though, I built a stock mod 110 after this, and then a full blown bbr v3 dohc and also had a 155v2 motor for it.

Old thread but I will say that working for a motorcycle shop for a long time we did recover motorcycles for people up to 8 years after they were stolen. The shop I worked for always got VIN numbers off of the bike(if the person bringing it in was unknown to us) and when a bike was stolen we would get the vin from the real owner and eventually, in many cases, that bike would come right into the shop for parts or repair. But you have to have dealers that really care and put in the effort to help.

Also had the motorcycle shop broken into once and a few minis were stolen and they only came back when the thieves were busted for drugs or something and then their grandpas barn was opened up and then had about 15 stolen motorcylce and atvs in there. Many were stolen several years prior. They didn't even fence what they stole and several were still in the same condition as they were stolen in. They just like to steal I guess but they realized it was to risky to sell them so they just sat in storage. Thats best case.

Things like this are what make me air scribe my parts. In case of a part out.
