I had a 22mm Mikuni carb on my Lifan 125cc motor that did the exact same thing, I had to shut off the gas every single time I let the bike sit for more than a minute. Even my Automotive/Small Engines instructor didn't have a clue what was wrong with it.

For sure, you might just have better luck getting a new carb, if you measure the carb bore then you can determine what size it is. People always replace stock ones and then sell them on here, look around on the classifieds.

It's one of those two stroke ones. So I think it
Has that auto lube set up in it.

dip that shit in acid, well have professional do it. if it was flaot and needle carb which i guess it is NOT i would think it would be because the needle might be sticking caues it is still slightly gummed up. one of you mentioned if it sat for more than a minute the fuel would go every where, clearly what ever dictates the flow of the fuel in carb works but, only when moving frequently and sticking when left to sit almost like an arthritis patient who doesn't exercise. i know some 2 strokes carbs have little spring in there some where if that spring might be for the needs or what ever dictates the fule flow that spring may not be strong enough or compressed to far to work when decompressed. just thought not much more than that.
