Hi , we have a new data base set up for online Tech Data , please review if you have time
TBolt USA, LLC Tech Database - Home
the current sections are some of the simple common and reoccurring questions and tech calls we get every day so this should help
we have more to come but it takes time
a few i would like to add:
how to install/ adjust a clutch cable (dont laugh)
oil filter / clutch maint
how to install a cam
how to adjust you chain
if any PM member would like to add anything we would be interested in your input

are there 8mm exhaust studs on the KLX ported engine?...or is that just the V2 take/KLX heads

well there have been on quite a few we have seen but if you have different info just let me know , this whole tech data section is an attempt to supply quick usefull info no just our customers but to the general public

hi
i just updated the tech area with is info on plug reading for proper jetting
a few guys are wanting to jet there carbs in and fine tune and they hear about plug reading but dont know how to read the plug so i hope this helps

When trying to build an engine or source a Big Bore kit at times we need to know how "Tall" the cylinders is

Here is some Quick info on Chain sizing
Check you size before ordering
Most Pit Bike take 420 chains:
CRF50
XR50
KLX110
SSR
Some take 428
EXTREME
SOME Pitster
SOME OGM

The roller diameters are different for 420 and 428 chain. The 420 is 7.7mm .303 inches and 428 is 8.5mm .335 inches. The rear sprocket is a BAD fit.

now guys can tell a 428 from a 420 chain by 2 methods/measures
