2010 Las Vegas MiniMoto



The 2010 MiniMoto SX was a great time as always with some thrilling racing. If you missed it this year, you definitely need to go next year. TBparts powered bikes won 3 of the 14 class championships this year with many top 10 finishes as well. Thanks to all our sponsored riders, teams, and customers running our performance parts.



RESULTS:



Zac Hays /TBparts – 8A 1st place AMA Champion – Zac’s brother in law, Derek Rose won it last year so he kept the number one plate in the family. Zac also worked his way up from 18th to a 7th place finish in very tough 12A class this year.









Mike Reefman /TBparts/Classic Honda Australia/Pitster – +35 1st place AMA Champion – Mike flew in from Australia and led from start to finish on a new bike with limited practice time. Look for him to be back next year to defend his championship.







Tyson Clark/TBparts – 8A 4th place, 10E 16th place, and 12E (not sure as results show DNS but he did race). Tyson also raced the AMA Arenacross championship on Sunday at Sam Boyd stadium on the SX track and won the Pitbike championship.



Jake Canada / Sik Tendencies / TBparts - 10E 7th place and 12E 7th place – Jake was definitely was one of the fastest riders out there in both the 10E and 12E!



Tom Parsons / Sik Tendencies / TBparts -10E 15th place and 12E 17th place – Tom made both expert main events which is not an easy feat.



Jason Langford /LCS Racing / TBparts – 12E – Jason checked out and won his qualifier but hit a tuff block in main event while in the top 10.



Mikey Borchardt /LCS Racing / TBparts – 10A 6th place – Mike gave it best shot while riding with either a severely sprained or broken wrist and still finished in the top ten.



Alexa Leonard/TBparts – Women 6th place in her first time at Vegas and is new to pitbikes. She plans on racing the 2up series this year and should be a little more experienced next year.



Steve Cline/TBparts – 8A – Steve had some bad luck in the main but can definitely fly on the vintage Z50s!



Gary Marshall / Sik Tendencies / TBparts – 8A 12th place – Gary built one of nicest vintage Z50s just for this race!



Bobby Rexrode / Solomon Racing – 10A 15th place and 12A 19th place – Bobby was setting some of the fastest times in qualifying and won his 12A qualifier but unfortunately had a crash in both mains.



Besides our own Mike Reefman and Zac Hays who won some of our Contingency money, we also had two other winners. Congrats to:

Mike just wanted to add my vintage was running tb parts also I hope it was well represented in the main event.

Thanks Mike,,, our TB v2 heads on Tom Parsons 10 and 12" bikes as well as Jake Canada's 10" and 12" bikes got 4 holeshots between the Heat races. And Kevin Bosch on his LXR V2 head with the TB 165 kit pulled the holeshot in the 10" am main event right before getting banged up in the corner. The bikes all felt very fast and TB parts put all of our riders in a position to win,, thanks again for the support Mike,, see you next year.

TB parts are great. I holeshotted my qualifier in 12''am and even though i got landed on first lap in the main i came back and managed to get a top 10 finish. Great service and great price...I was running the TB 55mm stroker, 143, V2 Head, TB cam...Best motor combo out, reliable,easy to start, cheap, makes good power. Keep up the great work Mike.

Congratulations, TB team. Your tb 184cc kit works great in our SR160R bike. I was surprised when our riders told me it was better than another more expensive kit. Keep doing the great job.
