Looking to get some rims anodized white and just wondering if anybody does anodizing. Thanks
Very few anodizers will do wheels. I am just about to anodize a few parts and called almost everyone in oregon. Answer was NO to wheels! They told me wheels bleed to easy and they are way to much work.
Haha i guess that answers that question then, Thanks manOriginally Posted by jmurray192
I called around today. My order will go in soon. Ill let you know if I can talk them into it and see how much it runs.
Also, dont expect true white in annodizing. They will anno it "white" but its more of a light silver color. Annoing white isnt an option due to it not having any pigment and anno'ing being a dying process of sorts.
we have a really good anodizer , has no problem doing wheels, white as stated does not look white.
powder coat them white
ya I would suggest just powder coating
Yea i figured it wouldnt be like a bright white, just figured it might be a better option for rims since it doesnt really chip like powdercoating, but maybe ill just end up going with powdercoatingOriginally Posted by speeddemon619

becareful if powdercoat make sure you have someone good doing it otherwise you will spend hours grinding PC off where your spokes go.
I saw once on OCC they put plugs in the spoke holes. Call Paul Sr and ask him, or Mikey since he went there.
our anodizer is reasonable and fast,, wheels, hubs, top and bottom trees , $90

Do you mean he can do wheels hubs and clamps for $90? All the parts are for an lxr so would i have to media blast my hubs and clamps first? I would definetly do that if thats the package price or i might even do it if thats just for one. I'd probably end up doing like a candyish red instead of white tho. Let me know where i'd send the parts, Thanks alotOriginally Posted by Matified
He did all that for $90, he even strips the ould anodizing off, two rims, two hubs, top and bottom trees , and he only took three days to get them back to me.
Ok sounds great, once i figure out shipping would i just send the money and parts to you guys at pitster, or where would i send them?Originally Posted by Matified
Can he do perm frame? do you have color chart?
I used a company in Florida that does excelent work for very reasonable prices.
The website is Six2 | Home - Premium Metal Finishing and Power Distros, Hawthorne, Gainesville, Jacksonville, Orlando, Central Florida, FL
